Thank you! I find the Analog Four and Digitone to be quite different. I don’t know the A4 as well as I know the Digitone. But I’d say the A4 sounds a lot more buzzy overall. It has a rather modern tone to it and takes some effort to sound comfy and gentle. I definitely like it, though, as the sounds can feel very much alive. The Digitone sound obviously more digital. But also a bit tamer in a good way.
In operation, the Digitone is more streamlined and simple. But I prefer it’s workflow a bit. Scales are easier to use and the lfos have a few more options that I really like. On the other hand does the A4 have many extra features like lfos for FX or CV control that come in super handy.
Both are keepers in my opinion. But I have yet to use them together. So I’m not sure what role each will play when paired.
