thank you. it really is. the combination is so deep and endlessly configurable. trying to come up with a way to switch presets on multiple apps at once, possibly triggered by the ot via program changes.

Happy with some of the voice-ish and metallic sounds i’ve managed to make on the Nintendo DS korg DS-10

This is great! May I ask: Is this already Norns 2.0 running? And with which interface do you record into Norns? Cheers, Chris

Hey, nice one  Yes, this is using the recent 2.0 beta, however mlr was working fine for me on v1 too… Sony D100 headphone out into Norns.

went a bit “prog-tastic” in todays modular & synths session

Working on getting better results with Rene and Cursus Iteritas - certainly happy with the sequence in this track

A bit of improvisation on the 0-Coast and Lyra-8. Running both through some effect chains in Ableton that I am controlling via the MPK Mini while the parameters on the 0-Coast are being modulated by Pamela’s New Workout. The most interesting thing about this track in my opinion is all the side chaining that’s happening between the sound sources and the effects, which keeps everything moving subtly throughout the track.

Tried posting this last night… not sure if it was removed. It’s a recording of a practice during Springtime 2010. We went on to record a more realised version of this improvisation a month later, on our friend’s back porch, using proper mic’s, multi-track recording, etc.

this is a better-realized version of safari, with lb-goldcat

How does the a4 compare to the Digitone? The sound, workflow, feel, etc…

I really dig the last couple Jogging House releases, btw… nice work

Thank you! I find the Analog Four and Digitone to be quite different. I don’t know the A4 as well as I know the Digitone. But I’d say the A4 sounds a lot more buzzy overall. It has a rather modern tone to it and takes some effort to sound comfy and gentle. I definitely like it, though, as the sounds can feel very much alive. The Digitone sound obviously more digital. But also a bit tamer in a good way.

In operation, the Digitone is more streamlined and simple. But I prefer it’s workflow a bit. Scales are easier to use and the lfos have a few more options that I really like. On the other hand does the A4 have many extra features like lfos for FX or CV control that come in super handy.

Both are keepers in my opinion. But I have yet to use them together. So I’m not sure what role each will play when paired.

Something I cooked over the weekend heavily inspired by slow evolving landscapes.

Experimenting with Electribe 2 sequencing through Hermod.

Whenever I use the E2 I find that I write ‘darker’ music.

Wow, I really appreciate this. It’s beautiful.

Watching the Thoman Synth Reactor coverage I was fascinated by this

I love the idea of each note being made by an arbitrary patch - so I made a supercollider setup where it did just that - each note has a different patch and then I made this:
