A live recording of a set from back in January. Recorded mics in the room, not off the board, for that real “I was there” sound.

Serge and effects.

thanks so much.
the documentation doesn’t do a very good job of conveying the full experience but it is better than nothing .

I wish it could have stayed up for longer.

Thank you — it’s a lovely synth, and I don’t know why I haven’t used it for so long!

Sonic Structures is an exploration of sound, sculptural objects, and performance. Through the use of my modular synthesizer, I will be scoring the interactions between the objects and the performer. The physical and sonic elements of this performance are means of engaging the space that they occupy. All of the sculptural elements surrounding me throughout the performance were originally improvised drawings in my sketchbook. The designs were created while listening to my synthesizer, where each patch is also made through improvisation. Now, these drawings serve as sculptural artifacts of my process. Through giving the structures physical bodies to take up space in the room, the performance will act as a celebration of their existence and allow the sculptures to experience the sonic environment they were designed in.

Collaborative performance between Zander Raymond and Lily Linz

whoa - that context is cool, wish I saw it irl. is the art reacting to sound thing a theme for you ?

the last “Vows” piece! expect a DVD + zine release in the near future. working with video was a really interesting experience, I found a language / ease of use that I didn’t expect to find.

This is the first track off my new album

Yes there is in one track, but i thought i hid it well. Where did you heard it, it might also be a synth voice trough an overdrive pedal?

First track using only teletype as “sequencer”…
