my humble suggestion - nothing. If you can do tracks like this, you already have plenty. Master what you have and finally it will come to you and you will know exactly what you need.

(Latest in the sense of I only rendered this last night). Here’s a performance by Orlando Ferguson at Chapel FM arts centre (Leeds, UK) which took place in December.

@junklight prompted me to do this (thank you!) after he commented on the previous year’s video!

All instrumentation built by myself and Ash Sagar; no effects (we hadn’t built any at this point)

Only just happened upon this idea last night, finally put in a few hours of RTFMing to do really detailed MIDI parameter locks with the Digitakt. Got the Moog Sirin playing bass and I’m using my Prophet REV2 to play the pad live over top. Next step is to extrapolate it all out into a full song.

Nice! I really love the Digitakt’s MIDI sequencer. It’s often at the center of the tracks I make.

Using the octatrack to play / sequence/ live sample modular by sending midi out using a midi to usb cable in to ansible and out to modular. Making random melodies by using the octatrack random lfo to play midi notes then running that through a quantizer in the modular.

Short little electronic ambient that’s sounds like its tearing through the space time continuum with a visual video.

this is all the prophet-6 paired with 2 MF-104 delays for stereo.

Practise for a live performance I have in 2 weeks time. Will be around 30 mins, so longer than I’ve performed before. Very excited! This is just jamming around with some ideas.

Heeeere we go. Some mlr+guitar doodling last night, with pretty bad sound quality

Here’s a little ambient piece I did on a Shared System. Didn’t get around to doing a video but it was performed live and is fully intended to be background music:

great 1st track!! well done… what’ the keystep doing?

hey thank you! keystep is sequencing everything really lol. i used it initially to seq the first droning pad (which is just playing back as a loop coming off of the field kit fx) and then it’s being used to sequence the two other lines that come in later at a faster time division. i put more in depth patch notes in the video description if you’re interested!
