Hexhead:

which was my entry for this week’s Disquiet Junto, and, for something I basically put together on earbuds and a qwerty keyboard, came out OK.

Mmm, I love that. Can you share how you are using the TT?

Thanks much!

I programmed an eight chord progression into the Tracker page. Each row is a chord, with each column representing one of four notes in a chord. (Wrote it on a keyboard, then just figured out the intervals.)

Other than that, it’s just one Script! You need a way to count a value from 0 to 7 (or however many chords/rows you have) and then start over. I thought the Wrap command would be perfect for this, but it wasn’t working as expected. My X kept going over 7 and not wrapping (?)

So I ended up using:

If EQ X 8 : then X 0

The rest of the script is:
CV 1 N PN 1 X
CV 2 N PN 2 X
CV 3 N PN 3 X
CV 4 N PN 4 X
X ADD X 1

So every time Script one is pinged (by row 1 on Meadowphysics…which now I wish I would have ‘played’ to alter the underlying harmonic rhythm a bit…next time), it calls the value from the next row and spits those out of each corresponding CV out as a N (note) voltage.

Each CV out is hooked up to it’s own oscillator.

I’m using rows 5-8 on Meadowphysics to strike or trigger each of the four voices. So no matter what rhythm they each play, the oscillators are always going to be on the same chord.

Cheers.

its a recording of a yamaha disklavier, an oscillator and a big load of supercollider

Not really latest, but I figured I’d share as it might be up some people’s alley. Old improv wiggles reinterpreted years later in a different format.

any chance of sharing some of the supercollider bits? (or at least some description of how it was used)

might help those of us learning
