The last five minutes of an extended Boss SP-303 jam session, with patterns made up from samples taken from Talk Talk’s “Desire”, Funkadelic’s “Music For Your Mother” and Ruth Copeland’s “Suburban Family Lament”, overlaid with the intro to Talk Talk’s “The Rainbow” and Delia Derbyshire and Barry Bermange’s “Inventions For Radio - Within Dreams: Land”.

I’ve probably been listening to way too much DJ Shadow… :wink:

just recently wrapped mixing, mastering and monome-ing my bud Zach’s debut EP from afar (SEA -> CHI). he’s written a truly wonderful collection of songs and sketches, playfully exploring the sobering edges and depths of a person removed from home for the first time.

@elquinto’s re:mix lovingly featured on tracks 1, 3 and 5. the mixing/mastering thread was so helpful, especially the Jon Ville guide – thanks to everyone for their input on that and i hope these tracks find resonance with some of y’all.
