thanks, its Cocoquantus - it has dual looping 8bit delays plus a modulation section of 5 oscillators / lfo. The sounds are from a contact mic - bamboo tree and sidrax

Datachoir just posted this video from studio visit last fall. Its a 17min guitar/modular/octatrack + pinecone improv. My studio is a mess… I should have cleaned it before they shot the video. oops. check out the other videos they’ve posted. there are some great ones of Jeremiah Green from Modest Mouse playing drums outdoors and some excellent pedal demos.
new digital release with Emil Schult (long-time Kraftwerk collaborator), and Andrew Deutsch:

This is beautiful, sir! Could you tell us some words about your signal flow and i.e. how you use the octatrack?
i guess there was a problem with the audio portion of that last video I posted. Datachoir fixed it and uploaded a new version. here is the new link:

Wow I think this is my first post on this lovely forum, despite having bought things from some users and having an account for awhile. Anyways, here’s a little improv track I did on my modular the other day. Nothing spectacular but I dig the vibe!

In light of my recent post on the 2017 goals thread, I thought I’d share some recent unfinished experimentation…

Going to be hearing a bit more from me since I’m gearing up for some dates. Here’s a truncated improvisational sesh on youtube (I didn’t bother to re-record loops on video) followed by soundcloud:

a set of rough demos of the most recent Aleph scene I posted. on my knees so that you can see what pedals are for. pretty vanilla stuff to show functions, though I’m quite pleased with the wavetable type synthesis you can get from the looper (2’20s ish). check aleph scenes thread for rest of info
