Over the past month I’ve been making videos on modular synthesis – some more educational and some more artistic – and been having lots of fun with it. Excited to experiment with new video ideas and work towards building a performance set!

@whitenoises I just watched the chord/clouds/batumi video, and I love it!

The use of the “b-roll” of the birds is a really cool way to incorporate the field-recording component of the final audio with another medium.

I’m excited to check out the rest of these videos and see what else you come up with!

Great videos, music and imagery wise! I’ve bookmarked the intro video to pass on to curious friends

Live track N.V.R.S. from my new project 【is.kr/a】

I am quite excited as the performance was filmed as well so hopefully I should get the video soon.

Finally found an acceptable donor old-style 120V sewing machine pedal. Excuse the generic guitar shredding…

This is my latest output:

These aren’t ragas by any means, but for a long time I’ve wanted to make a collection of tracks intended to be played at different times of the day. These are all as performed on modular synth/mixer/fx, recorded to two-track stereo without any multi-tracking. Which posed some headaches afterwards, and required me to make peace with a few errors.

Also realized I should probably start taking proper patch/signal chain notes, doubt I could recreate any of these easily.

A noise/ambient experiment i made couple of weeks back.
Its a MakeNoise 0-Coast being FM modulated by a Birdkids Bateleur system.
The noise is runned thru a FX chain of OTO Machines Biscuit, BIM and BAM
Its a long recording :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thank you very much!

I have a new musical project with a vocalist.

It’s called Library Cards.

Today is my birthday, so we released a double A side.

Not at all ‘latest’, but @glia - I posted this in the guitar thread and figured it might be more appropriate here. I haven’t covered ‘Good Side’, but this is a Gareth Williams/Flaming Tunes cover I did a few years ago - no guitar, so…just op1 and voice

thanks man I’ll check it on the ride home

I think a lot of the This Heat and other bands to follow in that circle have a vocal quality that just resonates with me. So I look at this as not entirely different in some ways from ‘Good Side’
