what a great drift
… .

First attempt to play music with Grid. It’s a little close to new age hotel lobby music, but as an experiment to see if I can work with unclocked loops it works.

3 loops. No clock.
Verbos Complex Osc (all modulations internal) into
Make Noise LXD played by Earthsea (quantized by Teletype). Envelope
attack modulated by Maths Ch 1 EOC, tuned by ear. Then Nord Lead pad
played along into Oberheim Echoplex - loop is 50 secs or so.
Echo is Strymon Timeline, Reverb Big Sky.

I’m still sketching with a new environment, and new tools, and so a) nothing is ever finished and b) I’m afraid of sharing everything. But anyhow.

Here is a sketch of something currently called Inductor.

Is it OK to post non Monome tracks here?
This is a cousin, as 3 Sisters is at the heart of it…
Another note - a significant number of my recorded pieces come from experiments not intended to yield ‘music’… Here I was testing Doepfer a-152 for droop… full patch notes on Soundcloud page.

Hello homies! Here’s some tracks I record the other night. All first take no real edits or even that much automation (probably why they’re a lil boring). Anyways these all contain two little bits synth kits, Aalto, my Jupiter 6, a 707, and some of the Korg volcas. Contolled by their vairous sequencers and ploynome and press cafe.

Hope these bring you all a little bit of joy (or other weird feels, just as important) have many more records like this that I plan on uploading soon enough. I can honestly say I’m in quite the productive phase currently, but that being said I feel it’s defiantly quantity over quality at the moment

Peace!

a year long collaboration finally finished. Lots of modular vs finger drumming.

take a listen to this curious thing.

the composition inspired by & made using boiingg on a monome64 spitting midi out to various bits and bobs.
there’s also a fair bit of ‘bricolage’ with lots of found sounds and things cluttering it up.
