I made an Eurorack, Arduino-powered module that plays the sequences/loops of Terry Riley’s “In C” on CV/gate outputs. It has buttons to control the performance in real-time, advancing through the 53 patterns of the original score. I recorded a performance myself:

The system implements five separate synth voices (shortly described in video description), plus the eighth note pulse. CV/gate for every voice is provided by a custom-made module powered by Arduino (code and info on GitHub), which is controlled using manual buttons to advance through the 53 melodic patterns of “In C”.

:crossed_fingers: Also, I’d like to know if there’s someone in EU with a better system and better skills that is interested in “playing” the In CV module. I can send my already built one for free, it’d be great for me to watch or hear a performance by someone else! Write me a private message, in case.

newest in a series you might’ve heard about…

have to thank @andrew (again…always!) not just for prosody fx, but, also this time he designed an outstanding cover for the fifth installment of concentrics

we’ve been talking about art quite often the past few months and this collaboration came about naturally as an extension of those chats

14 of the songs are available to stream freely
including andrew’s favorite…

i’d share mine too but it’s part of the bonus material

NB

if you want more than one release in the series use promo code "lines15 " for a discount OR send dm for additional info after subscribing to spools

@LLK if you have specific questions about the beats, i’m happy to answer here unless there’s interest in a dedicated discussion thread

Made with novation peak, MI clouds, DPO, Soma Lyra, Koma SVF, Erbeverb, Morphagene and a load of resampling with Kontakt

This one quite interesting as using a looping kick drum from digitakt that falls in and out of an audio rate oscillation. Also uses sherman filterbank, monome arc, erbverb and some recordings from an orchestral sampling session.

First of 50 videos we will be doing for our latest release miniatures vol 1. (I made a wee thread about it here). These will be chaptered little stories a minute or less per chapter. I think the director did a great job on this one and I love Grabek’s tracks:

Dark ambient in live looping with only no-input mixer feedback noise as sound source.

Mostly Monome and Joranalogue stuff going on here.

Teletype is sequencing the Generate 3. The Contour 1 is playing with the exponential FM of the Filter 8 that gives that WAP sound.
The ER-301 is triggered by the Teletype and other modulations via ii.
The Earthsea running PolyES sequencing a 4 voice generator on the ER-301.
Snippets of the Morphagene goes in the W/ that is controlled via the Teletype.
The Mix 3 holds the Filter 8, Generate 3 and W/ that goes to FX by the Monsoon.

an “extended” take of something I posted on insta today. Soma’s Lyra-8 + op-1 + oto boxes. Lyra-8 handles the drone, bass, and processes the drums. Op-1 makes with the drumming.

Really impressed with the Lyra-8 so far! (headphones recommended for crunchy bass enjoyment  )

Maybe this is slightly odd, but I just made a rudimentary 2D animation based off an AI-generated script. I made the music too.

Our first gig as a duo! Here I am using my Max/Max for Live based controller system for Ableton Live to use the sound of the tap dance to modulate and trigger different parameters. So much fun!

Lislegaard & Eraker - Live @ Underjordisk Maraton 08.02.2020
Here is a video from our first concert as a duo. We played an improvised set at the lovely event Underjordisk Maraton arranged by Dans for Voksne at a secret location in Oslo.

In this project the focus is on using the sounds of tap dance to modulate different digital parameters and trigger different processes. Everything is improvised. The parameters that the tap dancing affect are programmed live, on the spot. The result is a hybrid interaction between the two musicians who sometimes act as two independent parts, and sometimes together as one.

Tap dance: Janne Eraker
Electronics: Kristoffer Lislegaard

DivKid just posted this video from a visit he payed to my studio in the fall. In it I give a very brief overview of one of the ways I use the ER-301 with guitar and the signal flow for the two reel to reels on a single tape loop.
I thought it might be of interest to the community here.

also… I really need to dust in my studio. I guess it is fitting
