a ‘remix’ of that 10cc song. Made by feeding clips of it into morphagene and then going hog wild

Collaborative tracks with Ukrainian spoken words / voice, metallophone, and modular synth. (Mutable Instruments Rings to Clouds in VCV Rack)

Processed to granular synthesis for create sound textures.

Acousmatic listening experience.

Live synth setups in 2020 seem to be easier than ever. I got together with a drummer friend, we sent him a click (via a second drum machine clock-synched with the main setup), and away we went. The most remarkable part is how stable the whole thing is, not quite 100% but very good.

Stage performance is a great use-case for the Elektron boxes that I hadn’t considered, and it delivered in spaces. Ditto the Subsequent 37.

Putting our Isn’tses ‘Fort Processor’ psychogeographic noise synth thru it’s paces purely within the speed-knob sweetspot where it changes from a continuous rhythm/frequency control into indeterminate zones of drone and motorboat squeal

Micro Blackdeath duet with auto-chip-freeimprov from “Gradual Decline” gameboy rom. The recording was put into a virtual space using convolution reverb, combining a tape dropout and an impulse I recorded on concrete Dagon stairs leading into the ocean. I’ve seen the Micro Blackdeath described as impossibly random but actually I find it extremely playable and ‘controllable’ tho not in a sense that you can ever know exactly what you are going to get or be sure you won’t suddently knock it out of it’s current vibe into something else
