thought I’d better give the latest release of Kria for Norns a whirl

Great companion for the iPad I must say - you could play whole gigs on this setup (especially once I’ve fixed the saving of scales in Kria)

Thank you! It’s something I’m still thinking about. It’s probably something I’ll cave to one day though.
Until then there’s always Patreon which allows me a deeper connection with fans which I really enjoy. It also allows me to have a podcast that patrons get access to. I like that personal touch much more

Shot a video for my track Opening the Portal. The track comes from an album I released last year, Innsport '86, which is the soundtrack to a imaginary film. The video was constructed to be previously lost footage from that film.

Here’s a collaboration with a local modular gent, Crooked Walking. Tim’s setup was absurdly great: in just a few hours, he had four different voices coming from Morphagene, 4ms Looping Delay, QPAS, Quanta on the iPad, and even a ContinuuMini (which sounded really great). My setup, by comparison, seemed ridiculously simple, just one synth (the Deckard’s Dream) into the Octatrack. I’m really pleased with the end results, as we made a pretty cool track from scratch in about three hours:

I love the aesthetic look of this as well as the sounds. Beautiful and bonkers.

Inspired by African traditional music for create tribal rhythmic and percussive tracks with only Mutable Instruments Elements as sound source. Approach in minimalist direction, truth of the materials, less effects, and all about between free improv, composition, and sound design.

I just uploaded track 5 from my #52weeksofsound project… so far all of the tracks have used the same ‘Orchestra’, I’m going to see how long I can make that last!

This latest one is a bit more ‘composed’; using Logic as a sequencer for the first time in a long time.
