Plonky and the Casio CZ-101 talking to each other nicely for this quick ambient jam to test out my midi USB interface. norns as a midi host is something I still have to explore and I’m really excited about the possibilities.

I made some spooky nonsense for halloween i didn’t use, but instead turned the whole track into MIDI via Ableton, using that to trigger the sampler which hosted a completely unrelated, unreleased drone

Uneasy listening

Someone somehow found one of my most obscure recordings on archive.org and put it on youtube. Dictaphone field recordings of Kirlian photography experiments, ghost detector tests etc from the Suffolk Psychogeophysics Summit in 2011.

EDIT: ‘ghost detector’ gear photo. I need to build another of these, it was basically the best noise instrument ever.

A techno-ish track output of mine under the name of Sid Ua.
The very first thing I have on vinyl. Very happy with that.
Thanks to Johanz of Ballyhoo records for releasing this collection.

The Lyra-8 is very prominent in this track.

I’m just getting back into making noise/drone/ambient after many years. I’ve played a few shows this millennium but haven’t put anything out since the 90s.

This track from 1998 is one of the few old tracks I have digitized. It was on a cool compilation on Hands Productions, 1642 The Cave II.

I put it on Spotify and Bandcamp because I’m away from home and can’t keep learning Ableton but I can post a track! It’s made with a DJ-70 sampler, a Tascam 4 track, and a few pedals.

ongoing investigations into my own backcatalogue in both audio and MIDI.

Released a track as part of Elmet Brae, and added footage to the track from the movie that inspired it.

I was finally able to feed Unity with some scans I made on my phone using Luma AI in the Amazon rainforest. This video was recorded in real-time within Unity with Cinemachine for the camera work and some Post-Processing to wrap it up nicely. I’m excited about the possibility of adding VFX and more stuff for visuals. This video initiates a new series of works focused on visuals. I love that I’m able to make such high quality scans at any time with just my phone on me.

The music was recorded on tape using a Fostex-X18 multitrack recorder and the teenage engineering OP-1. Everything was recorded in one take.

Fairly dark ambient short. Trying to understand and rediscover what makes me tick with modular. This kinda does.

Hi everyone. we wanted to share a collaborative release from our Synth Club here in Maine, USA.

It’s a benefit fundraiser for the families of victims of the mass shooting in Lewiston a few weeks ago. Pay what you can with all proceeds going directly to the Maine Community Foundation’s Lewiston-Auburn response fund.

Thank you.

Nice little ambient microtonal motif I’ve been playing around with recently. 31-EDO, played on the grid with ‘Bosanquet’.

My EP is out now. The inspiration for this project is in science fiction, space exploration and UFOs.
