I did a studio recording for Electronic Sound on the Shared System (+ Sidrax) a while back, however the video was behind a paywall for subscribers.
Looks like it’s free to watch now, along with all the other live performance vids on their website:

Due to life dramas I forgot to share this remix of a friend’s single release. Sanfeliu describe themselves as electroacoustic troubadour. Most releases are a type of synthpop but Carles also excels as live covers and reinterpretations of famous songs and folk tunes. You never quite know what you’ll get.
Working with asynchronous loops across multiple devices and finally integrating my iPad into the mix. Full patch notes are in the description on YouTube.

Love it. Love the sounds, love the art.

Some neoclassical ambient vibes recorded on tape with the Organelle’s mellotron and I think Plonky?
Experimenting with mixing live recording and 3D scans of some places I’ve been and gear that was involved in making the music. Eventually I will add motion capture to take these live jams to another level.

I had the opportunity to perform in Bellows Falls, VT a couple weeks ago as part of the Bellows Falls Winter Synthfest, held at Studio 33. I love this venue, it’s a multi-purpose art space with a community radio station built in. The friendly folks running Studio 33 have a passion for music and video production—and I love what they did with my leftfield performance! Hope you enjoy, too.

Made this track recently, a bit of a collage of different ideas. What genre it is? No idea

This is a fairly slow and meandering modular, synth, and guitar piece that I recorded for January ambient challenge. I only recently picked up playing guitar again after a couple of decades off (I used to play classical and rock/pop) so am enjoying finding ways to incorporate it into the rest of my set up. It’s used very sparsely in this track towards the end.
I’m finding messing about with video quite engaging lately too. It’s quite fun to explore ways of juxtaposing and blending clips. Much like playing around with modular, I find happy accidents will suggest a theme or idea, which leads to more happy accidents, etc. Clips of time with my family in the mountains at different times of the year is what I circled around this time.

An ambient piece that centers around shifting 4-voice harmonies using phasing sequences.

Here’s a revived, old jam from a few years ago (added a few more synths and drums). I wanted to test the Cirklon which I’ve had a while but could not make the time to learn. I’ve since mostly grown out of writing groove based music, but every once in a while, I enjoy going back.

Another new one this week, extensive patch notes on YouTube. I decided to play around with two cameras for this one with the idea of being vaguely more interesting. The day after I edited this I bought another camera, so I guess this is the direction I’m going in now…

Two longform improvisations from 2023.
I // noise boxes, spring reverb, electromagnetic pickup, feedback.
II // modular synthesizer.

I liked where you took this, both musically and in the video.
How did you do the 3D scan? What is that, even?
