Just uploaded a new video on my YouTube channel.
Simple calm composition to help all of us relax a bit during these hard times.
All sounds based primarily on modules from Mutable Instruments and Happy Nerding.
Take care of each other, be safe and stay home whenever possible.

I recorded this 23 minute piece to reflect on what is happening these days. Hope it will provide some positivity. You can download the track for free at:

The video becomes a bit red after a while. No clue why. But my internet connection is too slow to upload it again. And also, I kinda like it.

I just released an “album” yesterday that isn’t really an album.

I found a bunch of old live to stereo recordings I made on a Make Noise Shared System over the last year that never saw the light of day and decided to compile them into something!

It’s a continuous mix of those MOSTLY ambient tracks with lots of weird woggle textures & confused arpeggios:

The title says it all…

And to be perfectly honest, I’m a bit nervous to share this with all of you, being that I’m surrounded by such a wondrous community of incredible music makers( you guys!)

Thank you for the endless inspiration.

The video focuses on use of the monome 256 using (re:mix)

Any feedback or constructive criticism is very much appreciated.

Here’s my attempt to create semi-generative piano system in Ableton Live using mostly its built-in midi effects, and a few max4live and audio devices.

I tried to reach kind of “call and response” feeling between human and machine. Turn performance into a dialogue in which machine reacts on what human is playing, and human, in his turn, react on machines response. Also that was important to have a possibility to easily morph the patch from subtle echoes to chaotic avalanche of notes.

It’s work in progress, actually. The patch is still a bit ungovernable, has kind of machinery feeling in a wrong way. I’m not 100% comfortable playing with it, so I gonna develop it further, but anyway here’s what I have for this moment.

Be really really glad to hear any feedback from you, you guys are such a beautiful community!

I’m releasing a new EP for the first day of spring, hoping to put one out for each season this year.

This one is all Serge + drums (some Nord Drum, some sample drums). Mostly one-take recordings, trying to keep the process simple

Great listen - thanks for sharing!

Nice to hear other purely Shared System recordings as I’m sticking to that as much as possible for my Depth Year. I like the idea of editing/stitching patches together, I’ve mostly been working with 3-6 minute long patch recordings as separate tracks so far, so this is an approach I may try next.

Yep! I have one short collection of Shared System recordings up, with hopefully more to follow this year! The rest of the releases are various combinations of Nord Lead, computer, and System Cartesian-ish.

Edit: Bandcamp player seems slow/broken at the moment so the link is https://februarywarmfront.bandcamp.com/album/four-patches.

I decided to release this today with the bandcamp email we all got. It’s called Lines referring to the connections of family and how they can be strange but they’re there. It also maybe totally isn’t related in some way maybe to this forum. Anyway, connection is super important right now and I hope all the music we make can continue to let us feel connected :relaxed:
