In these ambient modular patches, I try to challenge myself to explore sonic possibilities that focus only use one module as sound source : Mutable Instruments Plaits in VCV Rack. From generative sequencer, with effects of delay, reverb, and granular processor. Minimal approach and no overdub / live recordings.

Inspired by organic structure, magic, and unpredictable flow in the nature. All natural phenomena — rain, snow, fire. They are all meant to be seen as random and chaotic, but they are all working altogether in constant change and interaction.

That is beautiful! Really nice work. I love combining a choral sound with electronica

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it.

Hi,

I released a new album this week, Odyssey Chapter 1. It is ambient, soundtrack, space like… It’s the start of a series, not yet sure where it is going but I’m trying to tell a story along the tracks.

It can be downloaded for free and listened on Bandcamp:

I hope you enjoy it!

Made a little patch and I was quite proud of it so I thought I would record it and share! I’m starting to wrap my head around the OP-Z and I’m really enjoying how well it integrates with… well everything! Next step is to sample some sounds from the modular onto the zed to further cross pollinate the sounds.

I love this piece, especially the synth sound. It’s very Juno-esque. What did you use?

Thanks, I only used FLStudio and its VSTs. I plan on playing such songs on my homemade modular synths though when it’s ready (I post about that more on Insta).

All sounds source on these tracks from Automatonism patch in Pure Data.

(Used poly fm module on slendro scale and blend with low tunes of karplus–strong string / physical modelling synthesis)
Inspired by Javanese Gamelan sounds and tunings.

Just got my 0-CTRL the other day, so I made this ambient piece with it sequencing the 0-Coast and QPAS (which I am using kind of like a resonator) alongside the Microfreak and Lyra 8

Lovely video. I love that it loops around the flower stem and the windshield.

…had some fun this morning, jammin´around with “Fugetta” on Grids. There happened to be a sort of a new track. And my first snap on a camera. Be kind…

First new thing I made in a few weeks… Been keeping low and spending my days home schooling and trying to cheer up my sad kids! Made this over a couple of mornings - I often get up at 5am / 6am and spend an hour making music before the rest of the house is up.
