With a paused dense atmosphere that invites to reflexion, this music is made to be heard in the quiet of the night. I wanted to use my Digitech reverb and delay pedals with the acoustic piano, to create these singular textures that transform the sound of the piano. Look forward to the end of the video when I connect the reverse delay!
Besides the piano, I also used Logic’s Retro Synth for the strings, a lead sound from the Synthstrom Deluge, and Digitech Polara and Obscura pedals.

I expanded on my Shared System with a little skiff. Really digging this setup, it feels like a perfect little extension of an already fulfilling instrument.

Here are a couple verses I’ve been working on recently (exploring more jazz progressions with modular). Most of it is just a placeholder until I mix and record it properly. Sinfonion on duty.

hey all,
super new here, first post actually. Wanted to share some projects that my friends and I have been working on during the past few months. Different stuff: drones and beats and everything in between, done with synths and sp404s and abletons and FLs and max patches. (feedback much appreciated, we are new to this planet!)

entered this track into the competition SOMA labs are running, pretty different from the kind of music I usually make but I thought I’d try something a bit different this time (I guess you could tell that I’ve been revisiting BoC’s and Mogwai’s discographies recently)

David Byrne and Brian Eno’s landmark sampling album My Life in the Bush of Ghosts was remastered and reissued in 2006 with extensive liner notes, photos, and previously unreleased bonus tracks.
To celebrate the release, Byrne and Eno launched bush-of-ghosts.com where the audio source files from two of the classic tracks from Bush of Ghosts — “A Secret Life” and “Help Me Somebody” — were offered under the Creative Commons license, so we could use them to make remixes. The site allowed uploads and user ratings.

This is my 2006 remix, that went to the number 1 on the user’s ratings poll on that site, whatever that means, it was nice. I’ve lost track of this one and recently I’ve founfd it on an old backup. Here it is, rough, experimental and messy as it was.

I used most the basic stems and added charango, percussion samples, arpeggiator, acoustic guitar, upright basses and vocal samples (mostly in quechua)

This is the original track:

I’m thrilled to share a new (short) video of “Cheltenham Cases” from my forthcoming album “Parallèles”.
This, in a way, is a tribute to Moondog, himself making a tribute to J-S Bach. Directed by Grégory Wagenheim. Hope you’ll like it.
