just started a tiktok account :joy: :baby:
trying some experimental campaigns where i create max patches that generate all-in-one AV experiences(synthesized sounds controlling synthesized shader visuals all in one Max patch), this one i did generated 1 vid per day to post on instagram/facebook/tiktok for 7 days. just to gauge interest… seems people liked it:

Released the second single as part of my band last week! It’s a revolves around a chopped up disco sample and features a lot of Morphagene. Vocals from Private Agenda.

Got a YouTube link up to my latest ambient livestream. All my live-streams have been more or less improvised with a few days of prep to get some patches / tones / melodies lined up. This was the first one where it was requested that I submit a pre-recorded video instead of just streaming live direct to twitch. I recorded this the day before the stream all in one take, so creatively it felt more or less the same!

All sounds created from hydrophone samples of ice melting in a glass and contact mics on a piece of metal I found in my sub-basement. I spotted the bird in Guam at very-late-o’clock.

I think I have to admit I’m a semi-modular musician at heart. I love things being both self-contained and also playing well with others. Here I put a bunch of the Moog semi-modulars together (Subharmonicon, DFAM x 2, Matriarch) and landed on something pretty. The Subharmonicon is fun because you can use its various clock/trigger outs to control things like the DFAM in weird ways. Here it turned the DFAM’s 8-step part into a neat 2- or 4- bar pattern.

Live performance using modular synth (w/ CV Tools)

It is the 8th work that focuses on the atmosphere.

All sound sources come from Percussa SSP. (Basic Oscillators, Granulars, Wavetables, Samplers)
All events come from two Teletypes. (+PNW)
Pamela’s NEW Workout is the master clock.
All controls were done with the TXi. (+SSP)

Modular System <- SSP (interface) -> CV Tools

CV Tools receives the teletype trigger/CV signals through the interface of the SSP. And those signals control Max for Live patches I made and AL effects in real time.

Thanks for watching.

(:headphones:If you listen to it with earphones or headphones, you can enjoy the stereo imaging.:headphones:)

coaxing some dub techno out of chainsaw, echophon, and stereo dipole. was more of an exercise, but the patch stuck around.

This sounds great, I need to use my Zed with my modular more. I also have an L12 coming today and am stoked! Are you running Samplr on a send/return from the L12?

Edit: disregard I saw your response to Ed further down, looking forward to trying something similar to this!

Releasing a new single today alongside my friend Andrew from Ambient Endeavors. It’s a bit more positive and uplifting than my other recent work, and was really refreshing to work on. Here’s an Apple Music link, but it should be available under “Ambient Endeavors” on all streaming platforms.
