Just some sketches I decided to touch up. A lot of the funny little noises are voices and little objects around the room thru a Red Panda Tensor (really fun pedal).

Waltz in G-phrygian, sequenced by teletype, heavy lifting by er301, full patch notes in description on youtube…

Cool to see you work a lot of TT magic in a small case like this.

I can say this honestly: If I were to start a new case, this first module I’d put in would be the teletype…

It really is one of the modules that I can tell truly packs a huge punch. But on boarding is a difficult process. I think moving forward I will begin by making it my effects Automator and moving outwards from there.

Your work is continuously inspiring though, and keeps it in my rack.

Thanks for the (very) kind words. I’m not really doing anything deep, but I realize that’s not really that helpful to anyone…

Here is a link to a couple of tracks I made recently. Ambient-ish. Using some field recordings and looping with w/, into my teac 244.

I think the first fifteen seconds of percussion might be my favourite fifteen seconds of music since I started listening to @andrew at the start of lockdown.

Wow, thanks, I’m blushing here. Appreciate the fine words, glad you enjoyed it!

Bereen Ondo & Hisshet: Sainkangas (live improvisation at Kiuruvesi 10/7/2020)

Last week I was traveling down south after 4 weeks of staying up in northern Finland while my friend Ville-Matti, who performs as Hisshet, was heading up north himself.

We decided to meet halfway in central Finland at his grandpa’s old countryside house to record some things. After that we still had an hour or so to spare so we made a few quick improvisations before heading off on our separate ways.

I played Cheat Codes on Monome Norns, Cocoquantus and OB-6, while Ville-Matti played his eurorack system (Instruo Arbhar mainly, processing household items through it).

There was a ton of mosquitos inside as our sole audience

I’ve just recently joined Lines. I’m very impressed with the quality and knowledge of the members of this forum. This is my first post, so be gently

I want to share a piece I made in January this year on the occasion of Jamuary. It is called ‘Mist’ and was made in a day including the video. I’m currently re-listening (watching) my jamuary pieces to see which ones I’d like to use to build upon or use for an EP or album. Anyways, any constructive criticism is always welcome

Beautiful song, can you tell a bit more about your process in creating this?

Volca Modular. Bastl Thyme. Barely any edits (maybe the last 12 seconds should go…)

Thank you for the interest! It was actually pretty quick done. I had the idea of making a drone with the first notes of the melody, you here these notes on the flute opening their frequency range with a LPF.
The beat is 10/8, I used Serge VCFq for the low end, the polyrytmic part is a sample I recorded of cola can, granulized with Morphagene. The low part of singing I did in the morning because I perform better in low ranges in the morning. At the end a noise sound with LFO. And that’s it
