Had a listen to a few of your tracks. One of them was quite nice - of course the one with the vocal :grinning:

A friend uploaded an old video of one of our ‘death-lounge’ band Christmas Gimp’s few gigs. enjoying revisiting this foolishness so much. At another gig friends of ours almost got in an actual fight with some unsuspecting audience members who were demanding to know if we could play scales or not and why we were doing this

I was honored to perform for Modular World Episode 5, curated wonderfully by Johno Wells, San Diego California, with performers from all over the globe: Baséput (Australia) , John Mc Coy (US), Pablo Perez (US) and Kin (South Korea). This performance was written and filmed especially for the episode 5 of Modular World and aired on 7/25/2020.

Was fooling around in my studio today and had fun with a simple little jam. Reminded me of ICBYD era Aphex Twin. :v:

Live performance using modular synth (w/ CV Tools)

It is the 10th work that focuses on the atmosphere.

All sound sources come from Percussa SSP. (Granular, Rngs(Sampler for ‘audio in’), Noise Generator, Bit Crusher … )
All events come from two Teletypes. (+PNW)
Pamela’s NEW Workout is the master clock.
All controls were done with the TXi. (+SSP & Teletypes)

Modular System - SSP - CV Tools

CV Tools receives the teletype trigger/CV signals through the interface of the SSP. And those signals control Max for Live patches I made and Ableton Live effects in real time.

Thanks for watching.

(:headphones:If you listen to it with earphones or headphones, you can enjoy the stereo imaging.:headphones:)
(:loud_sound:Please turn up the volume.:loud_sound:)

„metem“ a collage of time, image and sound.

Dont wish to loose a lot of words on this but please make sure when consuming to be in a dark room, have vimeo set to 1080p, bright fullscreen and a quality sound.

Sound tools: norns shield with Timber + count to 5 + static phono player noises.

to me, the aspect of time is elemental to this piece, reflected by recordings i did a decade ago blending into recordings i did while working at this.

It was shown and celebrated on a nightly exhibition named „amygdala“ in a local park with the waters reflection. I am in the process of doing it again to get a clean recording of that, since the exhibition was very lively visited.

Starting a new series called “Music for Diffused Lighting”, which is exactly what it sounds like.

Lots of @dan_derks Cheat Codes, Microcosm, ER-301, and Lyra-8 in this one. I hope it brings you a little relaxation today, or any day for that matter.

I just released an EP that’s a preview/alternate version of sounds from my upcoming album. The EP is 7 tracks and ~15 mins long, about 1/5 of the album (yep, it’s going to be a long one). Anyway, if you like older strange FMV games from the 90s or Silent Hill/Forbidden Siren, this might be your jam, kind of an alternate nostalgia/uncanniness to the prevailing 80s synth thing. Lots of 90s Ensoniq, Emu and Akai gear.

This is great stuff! You have really captured the sounds and atmosphere of those kind of games, also gave me arthouse anime OST vibes

Just wait until you hear the full album, it’s basically cicadas and the sound of teens fighting demons as a metaphor for their own internal conflicts, haha. Seriously though, thank you so much, I was definitely thinking about a lot of Japanese media from the 90s/00s,* I’m really glad that came across.

*Fatal Frame, Kenji Eno’s games, Silent, Hill Forbidden Siren, Paranoia Agent, Tetsuo: The Iron Man, Takeshi Kitano, Takashi Miike, etc.
