I recorded a cover of a band I saw a lot in the '80s, Glorious Din - “Circle Star.”

Pretty standard guitar/bass/drums set-up, but used my casio SK-1 for soaring keyboard sounds, and its drum machine voice for laser sounds. Enjoy!

I made this yesterday. This track is me reading from War & Genocide, by Doris Bergen.

I used my Novation Circuit to make the kick and snare (synth 1 and synth 2, respectively), and Circuit Monostation for the baseline and high hat. Background percussion is Mutable Instruments Grids, modulated by Make Noise Woggle Bug, sequencing 2X Pico Drums loaded with percussive samples which in turn is ran through a 4MS Dual Looping Delay.

Freenotes Vibraphone & Human Vocal Chords/Zoom Shotgun mic ran through zoom u-44/into shields 1 running mlr64/into shields 2 running beets/arc2 mapped to beets volume and filter. 80bpm tempo is more or less synced between the shields (advice/tips are more than welcome)

Thank you @mattbiddulph and @noiserock for the 64 support.
Here’s a pick of my little setup. My macbook died this week, but my norns live looping/drum station lives.

Pretty voice indeed!! what VCOs do you used?

Mine talks with a “Tidal voice” (and some friends too)

it would be interesting a post with all our “First”

Crow > Rings and Dixie 2+ > quadvca > ripples > clouds, with some modulators. I am enjoying your crow’s voice as well. Didn’t think to use tides but it sounds great!

The gnarly sonic elements and occasional off-kilter timing kept me listening.
