My latest - DJ/modular set. Live sequencing is done with my custom monome patch driving the modular rack voices and drums/deckards dream/minitaur.

All sound on these tracks made with modular synth, use only one module as sound source : Mutable Instruments Plaits. Live recordings, one take, free improv, and no overdub :

* More info about the patch.

Listening to this track on Soundcloud led me to a number of your other experimental electronic pieces, which are really very nice!!!

Thanks for sharing!

Hey folks, first thing I’ve recorded in a little while. System is still in flux; I’m waiting on some custom Serge stuff, but in the meantime I still really love driving songs with the Serge Sequencer / Programmer, which is the sequencer controlling the melody here (it’s being “clocked” by the Pyramid).

Sounds are the Easel complex oscillator & the EMS VCS3 card, which I cannot get enough of.

Also my first song since getting the Cocoquantus. I admit when I first plugged this thing in I thought it was a bit too harsh, even after all I’ve read about it having character, etc. But, I’m finding ways to make it seems less stark (not using it as a send, for example; here the VCS3 is routed directly to it).

Also the first song I’ve written in a decade that has a name: bridge to next time. Enjoy!

I’ve started making a point to turn my little loops into “full tracks” if only to put more music into the world and to document my progress working with the Octatrack. It’s wild to think that I can use one box as a mixer, drum machine, sampler, sequencer, and effects processor all at once. I am enjoying learning it much more than I thought I would and I kinda like the little audio doodles I’ve been wrangling out of it!

Thank you very much. I “played” DPO via René in Quantize mode, up and down a few notes . Echophon provides pitch shifting, a 5th higher if I remember well. Osc1 and 2 are a 5th apart as well. These notes then into Erbe Verb for texture and then into Mimeophon’s Zone 7 , “looper mode” for layering. Morphagene plays the bass register, with a line recorded with the Novation Peak then slowed down by Morphagene. Maths adds some warble to the repetitions. And I think Morphagne’s CV out goes into Erbe Verb size for some warble as well.

I wouldn’t call this a track but at least is a video. It’s the first thing I code on Teletype. If you want to, you can check code on https://github.com/MurciaParker/Padle

Been enjoying spending evenings layering guitar loops (with overdrive and reverb, and occasional EBow). Usually I just post the final loop that results, on repeat. This track is a live recording. It starts with an accumulated loop, and then about a third of the way through I begin adding and removing elements. This is on one Ditto looper:

I crossed the threshold of 200 YouTube sessions of LATE NIGHT NOIZ FOR LATE NIGHT FIENDS!

For this occurence i wanted to do something somewhat unique…so…i ended up using only Drum Machines and Drum Synth devices for all of the noiz weaponry.
:stuck_out_tongue:
There is quite a bit of noiz support and warping from three norns and a norns shield.

The video, list of weaponry and a pic of the noiz circuit can be found here:

I failed miserably in my 2020 resolution to share something sound-wise once a month (pandemic-related disruption to blame mostly), but have just uploaded some new sounds to try to get back on the horse… mostly sketches captured from cocoquantus experiments (which I sold off some euro to fund a few months back).
