Aglaonema plant play fm synthesizer module in real time with midi biodata sonification device.

By attaching the two probes to the leaves of a plant the device measures and identifies the tiny electrical current fluctuations the plant generates. These galvanic fluctuations are turned into midi notes and controls that can be read by synthesizers which allows the plant to tell about its environment and the changes that are going on around it.

*Live recordings, generative, real time, and no overdub.

New on Soundcloud today… My collaboration with the writer Francisco Cantu about his take on lockdown in Arizona, USA.

I was a bit blown away that a writer such as Cantu would even consider a collaboration with me!
I messaged him via social media and expected the polite No Thanks (or more likely silence). Instead he messaged me back and said, sounds interesting, lets talk some more!
