I have been thinking about a way to visualize a dream I had about a slow time machine. In the context of the dream it both slows time and is very slow at changing the rate of time travel, leading to the merging of forms and the inversion of pockets of reality.

All the synth parts were made using the Elektron Digitone and it’s built-in reverb and delay. I later collaged in some field recordings and ran them through the digitone wet fx.

Thanks for checking out my video, I hope you have a mellow day.

This was the track that I would end my sets on back when we were playing shows in person. It was a particularly difficult song to perform for it feeling so simple. Not sure why it felt so much trickier to perform than other songs I written that were more complex arrangements.

Nice one, glad to see the masking tape is back on the OT.

I was wondering, how many cameras do you have set up and how do you synchronize your footage in post?

Hey Robert, yeah the tape is back. Just had to admire the anniversary OT for a bit before I put the masking back on. I use 2 cameras. An overhead A6400 which is outputting 4k to a camlink 4k captured via OBS. Than I have a second camera which is my A7rmkii with a prime 16mm also recording in 4k to an SD card. I sync them using the old school method - I clap and match the transient to the impact of my hands. Or you can sync the two transients if you have a room mic going for your camera #1 which I don’t do.

Exploring Filter 8 and Twin Peak Res pings. A touch of Blue Sky and T-Res 2 for spice.

I will have to save up for one of those, they look really super handy! I am correct in understanding you can capture video to your hard drive over USB with that device?

Rewatching the video, I also like the subtle use of zooms.

Mostly groove based, retrigger of disco-like bass pattern following
bd. Sequenced from teletype and hermod (chords and melody). 301 on drums, glitch and harmony line.

I recently received a beautiful Serge panel from Loudest Warning and have been completely lost in it! Here’s a swirling stereo mess of ARPS that I recorded this morning :black_heart::

Latent Space

This patch started out with the 4MS Spectral Multiband Resonator. Most demos I’ve seen of it use it for ambient chord drones. I thought I would experiment with using it to create arpeggios since I haven’t seen many examples where it’s used in that way. Detailed patch notes are in the video description.

Sounds like an intro to a Yes epic like The Gates of Delirium (Soon section)…

That’s high praise in my book!

Lovely!
