…my track isn’t listed, but I’m doing the mastering, so… yeah I’ll just add it in.

@myecholalia do you want me to sequence it while I master or would you like to do this? I think it’d help to sequence before I master.

regarding sequencing, i’ve already started trying to come up with a sequence. will share with you the final version in a day or two, if that’s sufficient for you.

Congratulations everybody for making it to the compilation. Unfortunately I was too swamped with (unexpected) work to finish the track even with the extended deadline. :sob: Anyway big thanks to @myecholalia for organising this LCRP and hopefully I’ll have a bit more luck next time! Can’t wait to hear the finished tracks.

About 90% there on the masters.

A few problematic tracks from a technical point of view that shall remain nameless.

Overall this is the kind of beautiful, cohesive yet diverse collection I’ve come to expect from these projects, you’re all amazing.

Thanks! I’ve had a few messages (What a self-concious bunch we are!!).

Perhaps I used the wrong word - Artists, especially producers, should be able to prepare their art in any way they fancy.

Mastering, however, as well as an art is a function, so depending on other people’s art, my mastering is more involved or more hands-off. This is especially pertinent when looking at a compilation which we’d all hope sounds somewhat cohesive.

NEVER apologise or try to make light of an artistic decision you’ve taken time to think out, be that a mix, or a sound, or whatever.

it all sounds great. hope all of you have a bit of patience as we’ll need a little bit of time to get everything in place for release. i’ll post an updated estimate release date as soon as we have some clarity about how long things’ll really take.

quick update again on where i’m at getting this out the door. as @Simeon wrote already, the masters are done and this compilation sounds absolutely fantastic. so happy with how it turned out!

we will be releasing this on bandcamp only, with an option to purchase as a CD via Kunaki as well (still trying to figure out how to best organize this part, but it will happen). it will not be released on the lines netlabel. there are good reasons for this that i want to honor, so i hope nobody is too sad about not being on the first lines netlabel release ever :wink:

i’ll take the next week or so to finalize on artwork, tagging files, figuring out kunaki and getting it all uploaded. initially communicated release date of 26 march still stands! hit me with questions, if any.

quick comment on ordering the cd: i’ve ordered a review copy for myself to check that everything is ok. feel free to order a cd already now through the bandcamp page (6 USD including WW shipping!) but i’ll only start fulfilling orders once i’ve had a chance to check the physical cd, which will roughly be in 2 weeks from now.
