This new 0 looks bad. Can anyone come up with a better design in 3x6 monochrome, or an I going to have to antialias a slash in? For reference, the current bitmap vs the new one:

Why not make the letter O wider? It’s not a fixed width font.

usually in 3x6 monochrome they make the O with a circle and 0 with a square, or vice versa
I have to say that this 0 has grown on me.
It’s included in the 2.1 beta, does anyone have any objections to this change being carried forward?
I still like this option. Keeping numerals fixed-width is very handy. I miss the readability that this gave to numbers. I’d love to include it in 2.2. PR is open.
