Just signed up. Thanks @markeats for telling me, as I haven’t been hanging out here much lately. :+1:

If everyone participating can help out promoting the stream that would be great.

Also, if we run out of time slots we can extend the Sunday stream with about an hour.

it would help if there was a page we could point listeners to with all the relevant information (and perhaps eventually a line up) - FB event would be common, but ick, FB - or you could edit the top post in this thread - since I think it is viewable without being a forum member - or perhaps a https://gist.github.com/ entry?

Quick edit of top post. Will update with relevant info for audience and participants.

Great-- Splitting it makes it more manageable for everyone. @Nonmimeticform would love to see you sign up.

Just signed up. I’m really looking forward to this.

Heads up, though – 8 PM UTC appears twice on the schedule for Sunday, and there aren’t quite enough slots for everyone if rows 24 and 25 are removed.

Thanks for the heads up. Will extend the slots as soon as they are needed, Will close signups on Saturday for this edition.

I have added myself to the timetable, the last slot on Saturday could also work for me so if someone is reading this in the future and has it and would prefer mine then we could do a swap. Basically anything after 7PM UTC works because this has the highest chance of my son already sleeping

Wonder if it would be worth soliciting members for intermission music or if that would add too much of an additional complication with a little more than a week to go?

Sorry, just a thought that occurred to me.

absolutely. but I do need the stuff to be easily available as I can’t switch between platforms/apps for music during the intermissions since I need to focus on the hosting/organization. I am making a collaborative Spotify playlist for everyone to contribute to. Is that ok?

Or were you thinking original music composed for the stream?

I was thinking original music, but it wouldn’t need to have been written specifically for this. Just thought it might be a way to include others who may not have an opportunity to sign up for a slot (or may not want to perform).

absolutely! I’ll add some info about that to the top post. Great suggestion.

Added info about signup deadline to the top post as well.

@noiserock - actually, the error is that the 8:09 slot was given only 6 minutes to the next at 8:15… and damn if that wasn’t the slot I signed up for… So - what do you want to do to fix?

I’ll happily switch to later no problem, but I guess everyones time slots will shift around a bit after that!

So sorry about that. Adjusted the times.@pacificnorthwes, @markeats and @karol , please make note of your adjusted times. @renegog I moved you down the list. Is that ok?

If anyone has 5 extra minutes, do a quick ready through the list and check that it doesn’t
have more errors. it should be 22 minutes between each performer.

while we’re telling people to look at it, that night is gonna have to shift back 10 minutes after 7:15pm so that’s the people you mentioned plus @artfwo and @909one (i’ve adjusted the times accordingly please check my work though if anyone else has 5 extra minutes)

Hey All,
Quick question about the technical side of this…
I’ve got an older Mac, and I can’t install OBS because my OS is too old, I tried updating my OS and then I was having other issues with other software so I had to revert back to the older OS. Do I have to have OBS to be part of this stream? I was doing some tests with Lightstream, actually streaming from my phone. It worked fine, showed up in Twitch. That should be it, right? Does the host take care of the handoff?
