Well, that might all be the case for you. I actually think compared to a lot of events in the tech space, it’s very good indeed - and you’re right to compare it to media/arts things.

What I definitely liked: it’s focused. It’s on a single site, everyone’s really keen to be there, so the crowds are interesting and there’s lots of good people under one roof. Everyone concentrates, too - I saw practically no-one with a laptop out during talks - they were all too busy watching or listening.

It’s definitely a bit more than the sum of its parts. But it’s also not, say, the most completely life-changing event I’ve been to - though I never expect that of conferences; I value them for the change I find in myself, not what other people tell me.

I’m going. I’m excited. I, too, am going for the head-space that it puts me in: I purposely challenge myself and go to talks, sessions, and concerts about topics I don’t normally think of as relevant to my music. Last year I found that everyone involved, speaker and attendee, was deeply thoughtful and had serious ideas to put forth, and that in turn made me more vibrant about my own musical journey.

Keen for a llllllll.co meet up. I’ll be in Berlin from Wednesday through Monday mid-day.

I’m going and super excited as well :slight_smile: Outside of the talks and scheduled events, I plan to spend time on the Stay+Play side of things and play music with others! I’ve been making music alone for too long and I miss collaboration.

Bumped unexpectedly into @electret and @whitenoises at the CL Tocante Workshop (not part of Ableton Loop) yesterday. Cool getting to know the people behind the nicks :slight_smile:
