Hello all,

I hope this question fits in here.
I am very interested in making some audio visualizations. Loopop on YouTube has some amazing results. Simple, and beautiful. Check out 30.30 to get an example

Any idea how to do this with the software on the computer? Preferably fee :slight_smile:

I DM’ed him one time about this, and he said he uses MOscilloscope and MAnalyzer by a company called Melda.

Hi,

I was recently searching for an oscilloscope for Linux and MacOSX. This is what I found:

Linux: https://x42-plugins.com/x42/x42-scope (not that fancy though)
Mac: https://macdownload.informer.com/audioxplorer (quite nice)

And - without oscilloscope - but otherwise quite powerful: https://www.sonicvisualiser.org

Yes, I using Sonic Visualizer even for sample cutting. And, of course, for audio analysis (especially transribing). See this manual, if you want to read something introductory.
