Hahaha. It’s all good. Thanks for watching! Yes, the DK is the master clock in those videos.

need your help as I want to order one and need some cables with it.
which cable length would be sufficient for the mosstone - only “self-patched” without any other equipment - could not find the dimensions of the mosstone to find that out myself?
are those buchla 5" (12,7 cm) enough or should get also some 10"(25,4 cm)?
thanks a lot!

The mosstone looks really small. You’re probably fine with just 5" cables. Check your price point though, as you might as well get longer cables for future expansion. Also, modularaddict.com has banana cables now in all kinds of sizes and colors.

Sorry to bump this old conversation, but I miss more talk about the Mosstone!

How do people tune it? In specific scales…? I know it’s done with turning the trim screws, but any hints, systems… its a little intimidating for someone who never has messed with the tunings in such free manner. I managed to get it very untuned sounding so far

It can get tricky indeed. One thing I learned that wound up being very helpful was to not expect to keep 1V/Oct tuning while also having the keypad tuned to a scale that is wider than an octave (like pentatonic major). Also go in order, left to right when making adjustments, since one will affect the other. And some kind of digital tuner is necessary for me at least. I hope some of this helps.
