Is this really the same Pig Destroyer!? It sounds so thin compared to their old stuff!

this really hits the sweet spot for me in between all out warped weirdness and actually having riffs

I endorse this message

Demilich reissue! IMO this band was way ahead of its time and still sounds fresh today.

Great heta-uma cover art too

Weird blackened death from a great label

Boundary pushing black/death/noise, weird and raw

Atmospheric black metal from the keyboard player in Locrian, inspired by brutalist architecture…

BRUTALISM - “Symmetry Death”

a friend and i are getting together this weekend to work on the first track of a doom project

Hissing +1!

Ditto Sutekh Hexen as well… the split the two did is pretty darn sick.

Here are some recent discoveries, waiting on some tapes in the mail from Sentient Ruin at the moment…

Creepy ritualistic psychodrama from Clavicvla

Atrament, crust/d-beat monstrosity.

----on the subject of D-beat/crust I have to give a signal boost for one of my nearest and dearest Vancouver pals Rick, whom I miss terribly---- his band has a new release out on Hydra Head. Mixed by Kurt Ballou, mastered by James Plotkin, lots of recognizable Vancouver scene faces in this group.

Buddy-bias aside, it’s pretty killer and makes me miss life in East Van.

yes! this split is awesome

Aw jeez, you got me tripping down memory lane now…

Fuck yeah new Hate Eternal.

I’ll need to give it a closer listen, but I really like it! Not a great fan of grindcore but this i do like.

My good friends Atomçk, superb grindcore from Newport/Bristol: https://atomck.bandcamp.com/album/every-room-in-britain

Has been on heavy rotation for quite some time!

A little more straightforward than a lot of what I have been listening to lately, but the riffs are awesome and I keep coming back. This has been my top spin for the last week.

This is good stuff-- brings the riffs.

Speaking of Riffs-- Holy Grove has them. Sabbath-y, Stoner-y, song oriented heavy stuff-- it’s got the rock:
