Well, I’m pretty sure the scope shortcut at least won’t work.  :arrow_left: :arrow_right:

Now i want to try my all button fight stick.

You’ll probably have better luck asking on the discord (particularly on the #headless thread). I see some mentions of waveshare and m8c-piboy there by searching, at least.

my old eyes are so happy

Semi-related. But I wrote some code in arduino so I could control M8 w/ a sega genesis controller. The code could be heavily modified to support other game controllers in theory.

What’s your recommended Sega Genesis controller? I want to get one for my NerdSeq but your project would make it possible to use it with my M8 as well, so two birds with one stone.

This is cool :sunglasses: Not just for Accessibility, but also playing open air gigs. I had to make an all bright on black theme during my last daytime gig, because I was flying blind on M8.

Sure, but think we all know it’s not a real electronic set unless it’s in a basement.

That’s really cool!

@pflouret - Thanks for mentioning the Dirtywave Discord. I’ll check in there.

It’s funny how that changes over time. Back in the days I was always looking for that spot between 1am and 3am. These days I ask specifically to open early or close in the next afternoon :joy:
Edit: for the one or two gigs I do each year.

The dpad on the standard genesis controllers is notorious for having a worn down Right pad and mine is no exception.

But otherwise all the buttons and combos work great and I love using it. I write most my music with it since my m8s hooked up to a bit of gear - Will also be great for performances I hope :crossed_fingers:

I did see someone awhile back on discord mention they used one of those wireless sega controllers for their nerdseq modular rig. I can dig up the post and get back to you

EDIT:

This was on the EZBOT discord if you wanna reach out to them.
