Power consumption is a lot less than I expected: 100mA@ +12/ 10mA @ -12. Was worried I’d have trouble running it in a Shared System, but shouldn’t be a problem.

I’m excited for this one. It’s likely that I’ll acquire one but I’ve not seen much on it yet.

Can’t wait to try it. Seems like a super flexible module- straightforward delay, stereo delay, stereo chorus, diffused delay, multi-tap, reverb, looper, music concrete, karplus. also really looking forward to the manual @walker and @ebremot !

Ya this will probably replace my magneto.

Don’t forget the word modeless which is the path to awesomeness probably, as is on the Erbe-Verb. :star_struck:

I’m assuming this was most directly a reference to the “Zone” control. I originally thought that Zone sets a buffer size and then Rate controls the delay time within the limits/scaling set by Zone. I wonder if Zone though is actually more complex than just acting as a scalar for the range of the Rate knob… from the description and use of the word “modeless” it makes it sound a little bit like it morphs between delay algorithms/changes parameters beyond just the delay buffer size… maybe not though. Excited to find out!

It mostly seems as though they are referring to the range of use you can get via the zone control i.e. raise it all the way for a 40 second loop, lower it all the the way with rate to make it flange

Would any of you wonderful people know of any more recent demos of this fine product? I can only listen to so many Superbooth screamo sound blizzards before my brain turns to old mush.

I’m sure Walker has some videos coming soon. Just have to sit tight like the rest of us!

they just did a live feed on instagram that sounded amazing.

I’m in no rush, but if I do, I’ll probably order stateside and get it faster than MA… maybe?

I wish they would at least check the option to “keep for 24 hours” on these so I could watch them later since they’re usually in the middle of a workday.

EDIT: It’s up, I guess it just takes a while to finish processing, hooray!

I’m actually considering waiting for the whole “tape system” . Rodent said it’ll be about a month behind Mimeophon and that the Mimeophons would be showing up to dealers late August/early September

I remember @walker talking about this at superbooth, and it looked like there was still about 10hp unaccounted for in the skiff. Any clues on what else might fill that slot for a full 104hp system?

Apparently sitting tight means watching Instagram A Lot.

Believe it is the new stereo output module, X-OH - I think it is discussed a little more in the dedicated MN thread?

Hm, looking at the video again there is an X-OH in there, but not an X-PAN, that’s probably what the rest of the hp is for.

(About 35 seconds in here)

I think they stated somewhere (perhaps in one of the Instagram live videos) that X-Pan is not included in the “Tape and Microsound Music Machine” skiff system, but there is definitely space to add it should you choose.

Ah, then perhaps it will be more like the old System Concrète, where there’s some empty “expansion” hp.

That’s what I think, but XPAN will 100% be filling it for me. That module is way more handy than it might first appear
