I just tried it out. I to get led’s functioning but no sound as of now.

hi @chapelierfou.
i’m using m4l and last version of max7. Other monome m4l devices work well.
i put René Master on a midi track. One RenéMonome Sat on another midi track. press play. Ad some midi notes in the clip where RenéMonome Sat is. Every thing on the monome display seems to light correctly

I switched out the serialosc with the newest one as well.

I forgot to freeze the device, sorry for this ! This will include the dependencies.
Will do tomorrow !

The links in my post above should be fine now !

no luck for me _
no note

Ok…
Are the error messages gone ?
Does it start when you hit play in Live ?
Do you see any activity in the device Midi output meter ?

The emitted midi note is very short (5ms) since it was used to trigger CV+trig. You’d want to use a “Note Length” effect after the device.

This is an exceptional patch. Thank You!

Thanks ! So, did you make it work ?

Thank you very much!!!

I got a 128 and I am very happy!!!
It works very well and i have to say thta has some nice addition for controlling the algorithm…sure it has something different from teh herdware but it is a good performance tool.

I have only one point to make.
it would have been great if it had autofocus (I prefer track) as I use the monome suite for m4l.
in this way I can easily switch between the different patches.

Thanks, happy to know it’s working.
Not sure about the autofocus thing, since the fact that you can have two of them loaded in two tracks at the same time. Will think of it though.

@chapelierfou I just wanted to say thanks so much for this. I’m having loads of fun with it.

Thanks ! Hopefully someday i’ll finish the job, get rid of the few bugs, clean the patching and add some functions (hold steps, access page, ‘gate’ page…).

Just tried this out again and it is working beautifully. Thanks!

Why does it have to be on two separate tracks? We need this autofocused!

@chapelierfou now everything works fine. i’ve got the 16 dials that did not appear before. Again, great patch ! thank you !

@jasper_ryder Simply because having two note sequencers in one track makes no sense.
@i_morgendoerfer nice. Don’t forget you can midi map them !

But could it be made to work on one channel? Sorry if this is a ignorant question (it is). Just trying to understand if autofocus could even be a possiblity down the road. Thanks.

Well, i think autofocus could be placed in the RenéMaster patch, so you could have both sequencers displayed when you focus on the track containing the RenéMaster.
I have never used autofocus, i could take a look, but i have a lot in my plate. I never had the ambition to offer a ready-made patch and i am afraid i am a to badly organized person for this.

Yeah, that makes sense because you don’t select both channels at the same time to use it anyway.

Please don’t feel pressure to work on this. There are a lot of very smart helpful people around here and it seems things get done somehow someway if enough people are into it.

I have about zero max capabilities but I try to alter max patches. It can’t hurt to try.

i disagree ! playing the two sequencers at the same time is something i do live, and a lot.
