the last issue that remains is the question related to the dim light when you use flin!!!

Also I have found the same strange behavoiur when using re:mix by @elquinto

The flin issue is appearing also in monome sum and I have posted in the relative discussion.

Now time to play with renome and maybe think about some additional feature!!! :)grin:

Hello all again,
As you can imagine I am enjoying this app so much, it is now part of my setup like it is an hardware sequencer.
Yesterday night I decided to move the use of the app from the modular to an hardware synth (precisely MI Anushri) and surprisingly I have found what looks like another bug.
Before going to dig deep into the code I would like to ask if anyone has had the same strange behaviour or it is just a problem I had myself with teh particular combination of devices.

Basically, when I change the notes on teh rotary encoders, the software passes midi messages that also modify the sound of the synth.
This seems independent of turning off the remote switch in midi preferences in Ableton.

It seems like it is using a different midi channel transmission, like a direct transmission through M4L.

Can anyone confirm that?
Or maybe it was a bit late at night…

Oh yeah what happens is that the CCs you’re sending to move the knob are going through the patch.
What controller do you use ? I’d say you could simply remove it from TRACK INPUT in the MIDI prefs of live.
The patch is supposed to let every MIDI message through.
If really you can’t set it up properly it’s easy to block CC messages within the patch.

Maybe there’s a way to block Midi control from the Anushri ? I’ve got one as well and wanted to play around with it !
Be aware as well that it’s best suitable for the use with AD enveloppes since it’s trigger based.
Nice to see that you’re enjoying it and using it, probably much more than me ! I designed it for one single gig, that’s a shame.
Nice to see that you’re rocking an Anushri as well.

I will have a play with it as soon as I have the opportunity.
I have an old Doepfer Pocket control.
I reckon I shall block CC messages through the patch but I will have a check as it seems that the issue is within the controller set-up (if I change the set-up it changes the parameters controlled on the anushri).

Right now I have used it with a MI Rings…oh my god…
This is an example using MI Rings with Befaco Rampage and ES Disting mkIII and Rebel Stoicheia…+ Anushri + tanzbar…

Sequences are a mix between Rene for monome through BEAP and Tanzbar sequencer…
