Surely what you say is compatible with what @Galapagoose said? The bipolar knob is 10V end-to-end. You set it fully CCW - -5V - and then you have 10V of control from one end to the other?

I’m afraid I subsequently sold on JF, so I’m a bit fuzzy here, but I recall what you suggest did not in fact work because of the +5v limit going in. I ended up using levels set to 10v and then a WMD invert offset to subtract 5v so it was effectively -5/+5v.

apologies - I ended up here for various reasons and failed to note it was 10 months old!

No worries. The more i thought about it, I remembered. Set the knob fully CCW and add 5v results in the knob being effectively at the null (12 o’clock position), add 10 volts and it does the same thing. Incoming voltage > 5v is ignored.

Just had that ‘mannequins moment’ with mangrove. Love how incredibly rewarding it is to sit with these works of art for countless hours waiting for the penny to drop. That’s all!
