Hi, I’ve slowly been building up my 6U 84hp system and recently added a JF. It’s joining a Loquelic, Maths, Blinds, Wogglebug, and uO_C. I’ve liked being able to get some pseudo poly sequences (parallel harmony) running uO_C’s sequencer/quantized CV into the v/o of JF in the various sound modes, but since the harmonic relationship is inherently tied to INTONE, I would like a little more control over the equation.
Also, at this point, I’m looking for a more capable clock source than those tied to wogglebug/maths and have been looking at the Pam’s New Workout, which I expect would have plenty of triggers/modulation for my system, including JF. The goal was to drive uO_C with Pams for the vast majority of my sequencing, which would allow some “real” poly sounds once I add another voice or two to the loquelic/JF. However, I have only recently become more interested in the teletype sequencing workflow via Just Type - though I do have some hesitation. It seems that teletype could take the place of my planned Pam’s/O_C sequencing workflow, opening up uO_C for other duties, but also providing what I think could be a major benefit of utilizing Just Type, which as I understand would make JF a complete poly synth voice and leave other voices in my system to provide other duties.
For someone who has never coded before,

Would the learning curve/workflow of Teletype be worthwhile if my primary interest at the moment is Just Type? Obviously, I could get a lot of nice clocking and modulation from Pam’s, but it seems like teletype could play this role adequately and would help unlock the JF.

Would Just Type provide a polyphonic experience that is somewhat intuitive and engaging, or would I be better off leaving these more specific poly duties to softsynths and using JF for its more standard (and still quite unique) features within my system?

Similar to Q1, is adding a teletype to the system defeating the purpose of going modular? While pam’s & O_C are bit more of “black box” than other forms of modular sequencing, I like the low HP footprint, don’t mind the shallow menu diving, and would be able to avoid an extra keyboard.
I know this is kind of a convoluted thought process, but perhaps someone was introduced to the world of teletype through JF as well. This would kind of overhaul the plans for my system and workflow as a non-programmer, but with so many people on the forum using teletype effectively, any help here would be greatly appreciated.
