The way I picture it (bear in mind I’m always wrong): the two companies are trying to coordinate a few releases, but every time one thing is ready, another has evolved and requires tightening and new documentation. Then, by the time that thing is ready, another thing has evolved, and the cycle continues.

The module has been inside of you this whole time. You just needed to realize it.

Ordered and waiting! This will be nice in my last 2hp…

what exactly does the ‘slashes’ board do?

This looks like all kinds of fun

Another great manual!

i thought for sure it would be 6 or 4 hp but dang, this is amazing! i cant wait to see what multiple can do interacting over ii!!

edit: im like high and all but wow the manual is good and the metaphor of splicing/interacting with the tape with the movements of the switch are wonderful

That looks like something I’d actually be interested in and that could fit in my relatively small system.
I didn’t expect that :).

I’m reading the manual now, to be sure I’m not missing anything but it looks like a very decent and small looper with tons of other tricks. Letting people use the CV inputs to plug any CV generator they want for hands on control on the parameters makes sense for such a small module.

Here’s a practical question: so “Slashes” the connectivity board gangs 2-4 units together with the promise of future connectivity, but say one gets the 3-pack and wants the option of future Teletype connectivity, would one actually order a four terminal Slashes unit (since the option is given) and DIY throwing a ‘male’ header on the 4th?

edit: or would it even matter with a Teletype outfitted with its distro busboard and skipping Slashes: would the only big loss be not ganging the W/ power?:thinking:

Definitely wasn’t expecting a 2hp module or a chainable bundle of 2hp modules. All of our speculation seems extra silly now that W/ is w/ us now.

Really curious to see how multiple of these (and teletype) work together

Am I right in thinking that in order to get the TT connection via I2C I need a Slashes board?

I believe the slashes board just connects the power and i2c together on all the modules. You shouldn’t require it to access i2c.

I’ve got the W// 2 pack on the way. Probably will push me to get a teletype too now that’s 4 modules I own that speak i2c
