I didn’t seem to find anything like this, probably because it’s quite a contradictory topic per se. I was wondering if there’s a workaround to do use an external HID numpad (I’m using the Pimoroni Keybow) to control some MIDI parameters on Norns. Or else, if this is an already planned behaviour, if someone could point out a way to achieve such result.

Your probably need to write a little translation library to map the HID events to specific midi events.

I just felt having some keybindings to simple controls (like the capability to set switches in between a certain range for volumes and effects) would’ve been cool for this particular setup, which is extremely portable. As @okyeron said, it something that can be accomplished with a translation library. I might dig further in it, though I’m not sure I have the skills to implement it on my own yet.
