something that pretty should be illegal

The maximalist price is the killer though.

I hadn’t seen that mixer before. Very handsome.

That is a thing of beauty

if i’m not mistaken, the linear faders extension on top exists only as a prototype.
There is an 8 rotary faders extension (SX-RC8+) though, available since last month.
Price is more justified than most boutique DJ rotary mixers imho.
Actually it is right in its market (it’s not a mixer, but a field mixer+recorder).

I don’t see the RC8+ in my local location sound dealer stock; maybe it’s on its way.

Price for the R4+ is $5,900.

This is slightly more about “small” than “minimal.” I’ve only just woken to the fact that I can use my iPad LoopyHD app by routing audio to it via FX send on my little Behringer Xenyx 802 (per my earlier Pictures-thread post). I was wondering if anyone could recommend a mixer roughly the size of the 802 that has two (or more) FX-send options. Thanks.

There’s also a Buddha Machine just outside the shot below. I was working three channels: the Monotone app, the Buddha, and occasional (purposeful) feedback from the LoopyHD, which I had returning to an individual channel instead of to the 802’s stereo aux return. Fun.

How are you getting the audio from the aux send I into loopy? This is a very cool set up

Thanks. I have an iRig Pro. I send from the mixer to the iPad via an iRig Pro, and then the audio comes back via the headphone jack.

Word!
I think I picked up a strange trrs 1/8" adapter a while ago and didn’t realize it may make a set up like yours possible without having to buy an irig

Cool. Do report back.

I use a similar setup and have also been looking for a small mixer ala 802 w/ 2+ sends.

The mackie 1202 line has two sends I believe, but is a bit larger. Not sure of another middle ground tho

This has been hanging around my local Craiglist trying to tempt me:

I would if 1. it wasn’t so huge, and 2. I needed it!

These are among the ones that popped up in my various query feeds this morning:

This Mackie is solid:

Soundcraft Signature 10 is probably too big for me, but looks pretty great — 3 Aux:

This A&H looks promising, and arguably more than I need:

wait, what?
where can i find out more about this?

it’s the koma elektronik field kit that they demoed a couple months ago. it’s in the final prototype stage, and is now headed to kickstarter. it’s much more than just a mixer.

Does that say 799 or 199?

CV radio!

this would pair so well with ER-310.

A prototype it definitely is!

Looks cool though.

i can’t imagine it would be as cheap as 199. maybe that’s a 499, which is still expensive, but nowhere near bad as 799. i can’t find any questions or comments clarifying that number.

@Larrea that’s the final design.

Certainly looks like a, “1.” (Hope it’s a 1)!
