Thanks, Dan. I searched all over but forgot to check the GitHub project.

Wow, this is helpful. Can’t believe I goofed on figuring some of that out, especially the quantizing.

That to do list certainly gets me excited too!

 thank you

just did a quick test and can confirm that clock out -> crow is working. looking forward to a deeper dive very soon.

Just replying to say how much a video would be appreciated!

there’s always room for more video, since there are so many different ways to use this script!

Perhaps the makers could add their own take on how they use it, how they prepare samples, or not, as well as the basic operation.

Just on todos and feature requests - there was past talk about mute groups?

I believe I have found a bug or two after playing around with mlr for a bit. I hope this is the right place for this.

Sometimes when loading a clip and playing around on the cut page and then loading another clip on the same track, one of the loop points gets stuck. If I press another button on the right or left of it, it becomes the start/end of a loop respectively but it always remains pressed. I’m not certain that the above process will always reproduce the error, but I’ll try to pay closer attention today and report back. As far as I can tell, it’s not a mechanical problem as the button is never the same and other apps function as normal. I’m on the newest updates both on norns and mlr.

Another thing that keeps happening where I’m not sure if it’s a bug or something else is when I load a new clip, all of the patterns that run stop. If I then go to another page from the clip page, everything starts running again. I’ll see about giving more details if I can reproduce any of the bugs today.

Pretty sure I’ve encountered the loop stuck issue a few times too. Had to relaunch MLR to get out of it.

How many users are there of the non varibright 64-script? Should it be a branch(not sure what the github lingo is) of the original version from @tehn? I’ll try to make some time this weekend to update it with recent changes.

Did you change something in relation to the „non-varibrightness“?

Yes. Ive adjusted some of the script so that the (limited) LED feedback makes sense on a non varibright. Also Row 8 Column 1-3 functions as Recall buttons.

uh nice. I have a 128 non-varibright grid. so would be interested in your script!

@noiserock feel free to post it in your own git fork, i can link to yours in my mlr readme and on the Library page

Cool. I can probably revert back easily to fit your 128.

Sorry for the silly question, but all audio in MLR must be recorded live, right? Or am i missing the way to load audio from norns into the slots? Thanks!

Page 3 allows you to load clips. They must be present on the norns in the /audio/ folder.
