Wow!! Marvelous!! Great Shnth performance!!

Absolutely.
I actually made something to remedy this -

Allows for walwart and then you just jump all of the obelisks together.
the you would only need 1 ground output jack to connect to other gear.

I designed something in KOSMO Format called GRNDS that plugs directly into my PSU’s Ground as well. This is more for test equipment but works great for banana gear.

Thank you! I’ve never seen such a creation for use with the paper circuits. That’s awesome.

I have some spares - shoot me a PM -
The first run of them I panelized and for some gods awful reason the Slots for the DC Barrel Jack ended up as holes lol.
Just takes a touch of modification - but yeah, hit me up and I can send ya a couple

Thanks for thinking of my gear!
I hadn’t planned on mixing my Ciat-Lonbarde DIY gear and my Eurorack, so even in an absent minded, sleep deprived state I shouldn’t plug a -ve Rollz into a Euro module.

I like what you’re doing with EuRoolz but I was wondering, why not use 2mm banana plugs, or pcb headers (like AE modular and Folktek stuff) for the -ve Rollz. That’d save lots of space on the panel and space out the connectors a bit. You mentioned custom cables, so you have the ability to dictate which connector to use for these. Just a thought!

5-6 Roolz

I am going to run these before I finish up the EuRoolz to make sure the circuit works properly all together.

Might need a couple of testers if you are willing to build something that may not work. lol
Or, it may work splendidly and boom, you have a 5-6 version of PlumRoolz. :stuck_out_tongue:

Does anyone have any info or sound/video examples of the DDD Charms?
Figure 18.

I spent some time yesterday and made a mock up in SMD.
Unfortunately… it seems KiCAD no likey oval edge cuts… lol - anyone know a trick to this?
(Things I have tried - exporting an oval in dxf format from fusion360, saving the bitmap and editing its text file for the edgecuts, and, well thats about it. lol)

Someone in another forum made me away of some power discrepancies in the original paper circuit - I have since fixed those -
Will be ordering these soon to test em out!

And to the few who messaged me in regards to CV Roolz (5-6 Roolz)
They should be here on Monday!
I will contact the ones who gave me some specifics about their set ups and their abilities to actually test them.
Please do not be offended if I do not pick you, I’ll have plenty more projects in the future and am not stopping anytime soon!

i really want to hear some thoughts on stuber. who has one? @Justmat how are you liking it? i’ve yet to see any videos that use the rungler (afaik) or use the instrument as a sound source/voice.

it’s quite a chaotic thing…
here’s a session with a SRINE going through the STUBER.

I am really enjoying mine! Still figuring things out on the patching side of things, which is pretty much my norm with CL instruments

I’m happy to throw a clip together if there is anything specific you would like to see. I’ll do some solo stuber/stuber as voice experimenting today.

nice! i would love to see a patch from scratch kinda thing demoing the banana functions/rungler side and filter oscillation/use as voice stuff

i fully intended to film a patch from scratch type video, but only the last minute or so was very interesting… so i cut out most of the patching bits. here is some no input stuber madness

Kind of a random question for those that have DDDs/stubers, but are the big wooden knobs endless pots (as in, 360 rotation forever), or is it a normal pot with start and end points?

So I’ve sorta got CV Roolz working.
It definitely reacts to an LFO in the Verso Input.

Bugs:
LED driver isn’t working (dunno why, it’s the same as in my 2-Roll LFO x8)
12v>9v isn’t working (also, same as on my 2-Roll, dunno why…)
Mido is only putting out 3.5v instead of 4.
Positive Pulse Out is generating Negatives like a sandrode (sigh, really no idea why, works fine and only puts out positive on my 2-Roll)

But other than that, it’s neat to see rollz react to control voltages!!

*** Update - I’ve fixed the LED driver (LED’s footprint was backwards on my boards lol)
Power is fixed - I connected the wrong Pin on the DC barrel Jack to Ground and left the actual ground pin unconnected - simple jumper between the 2.
Mido is now generating 4.5v as intended with the Power adapter - Less with a 9v due to drainage.

Last bug to fix is the Positive Pulse Out!
