I built those thee a few weeks ago with the same intentions… still waiting for the NJM2073 to arrive (I ordered them from aliexpress). They should work flawlessly with a 9V battery, I’ll report back when mines are alive

I got my Mobenthy wine box rig battery powered along with the rest of this stuff. It’s the primary input source for mlr and Aleph delay lines. Looking forward to doing some videos.

Hi there,

I’m just wondering if anyone here is using Lorre-mill gear with their plumbutter 2?
Can they safely cross patch?
I’ll probably scope out the outputs just to be safe, but figured that it doesn’t hurt to ask here.

Not my experiance but I’ve seen warnings about not to send CV with too high peak voltages to the inputs of Double Knot. Not sure how hot is CL chain or if it is a problem with Plumbutter at all.

I patch both of mine (DK and Mosstone) with the Coco and Sidrax and have had no issues (make sure you run ground cable between all). I know that the Lorre Mill boxes can’t take negative voltages (0 - +8) and I’ve read that you should never patch the brown jacks from the Plumbutter. Best bet would likely be to email Will and run it by him.

I blew a transistor of the sequencer on my DK when I paired it with the Plumbutter (and yes I avoided the brown jacks of the PB2), repair was easy, but would be very cautious without filtering the negative spikes.

MQ Voltage Memory with Sidrax. Is the workflow:

Tune Sidrax to the same note for each bar
Use the VM to tune a scale
Save to a bank

Does the VM work well with Sidrax, I’m thinking it could be a useful extension for playing?
