hooray! found an ebay listing for a bunch of 102k 100v jellies

the issue is… theyre really expensive… or is it 20 of them for that much?

20 for 5.35.
Order them from Tayda… (20 for 1$) and get an assortment. WAY cheaper in the long run.

Otherwise, there is always Mouser, but some caps are expensive there.

i cant find them on tayda?

which ones?
102 - I posted above
103 -

and 104’s are posted above

105’s - use box type film caps or MLCC’s

Otherwise you can get 240v’s from Digikey (red jelly beans) but theyre pricey.

Does anyone know whether attaching the positive nodes like so means that the positive pulse would correspond to the adjacent node below it or above it? (Thanks to crucFX for the image)

I put it close to the one you exclude

I’m a Ciat Lonbarde virgin but I am intrigued by the 5 rollz and the Plumbutter. Most videos seem quite harsh and I wondered if it was capable of producing softer clickier rhythms and pulses?

Hey all, I’ve started documenting my quest with these wooden boxes in blog form (actual music will follow too):

Sure thing! You can easily tune the ultrasounds to be soft and clicky, the gongues to be mellow and ploppy, the avdogs to be lush.

apparently the deerhorn has had a design update

hooray! I am really wondering what official CL unit i buy first once my dogslit is built… im thinking a plumbutter then a cocoquantus, but deerhorn getting a redesign is making me go HMMM

I got a plumbutter first, followed by coco and tetrax. I think the plumbutter deerhorn section gives you a good sense of whether or not you like that form of control in the C-L universe. I mainly use it as a control source (gates and modulation).

I’m pretty sure that the redesign is just the number of trimpots for calibration. I bought a DHO from Peter over the summer that had only three trimpots, but was otherwise the same instrument. Patch Point is probably being a little tongue in cheek?
