That’s awesome that you got Peter as a guest! I’m behind on The Deerhorn, but will listen to this tonight/tomorrow.
Peter was a complete surprise so I was a little bit of a mess trying to navigate this one it was also 9 A.M. here and 9 P.M. there which is very apparent I think…
oh. my. This is so freaking cool!!!
Also KOSROLZ is alive My LabRolz based KOSMO Module These are not for sale, but if you build KOSMO format and want some CV Rolz in your Rack, let me know! I’ll send you the Gerbers It’s 3am here, so I couldn’t really record much lol.
I enjoyed listening to this last night! They sounded like they were getting a little tipsy towards the end I was a little bummed that there’s just no more US-based sales for the foreseeable future…significantly ups the price of everything paying in euros and shipping it over. =/
Yo! This is ace.
Question… how tall are the actual PCBs in Kosmo format? Taller than 6"? Wondering if they’d fit into a 4U boat.
they vary - but most of us build at absolute max 180mm - usually 175mm. (17.5cm) KOSROLZ PCB’s are 175mm tall The panels are 20cm tall.
I think 4U panels are 175mm - so Im afraid it wouldnt fit But that gives me an idea lol.
Also -
Gerbers are up for Brasser and Brando Drive Here.
What do these ones do?
Brasser and Brando are Din Datin Dudero MK2 -
Textural i guess you could say
haven’t got a chance to listen yet, but great color vibes in this room!
thanks for sharing. Is there a paper circuit for Brasser?
You will likely have to scale them!
great! thanks a lot! I printed Brando as it is and it seems to fit the ics. on that note, I tried to scale some circuits and it was with much trial and error. is there a better way to scale these?
I use inkscape to scale everything and then export them to PDF. Measuring tools in inkscape are your friend - resistor spacing is 7.62mm center to center - all you really need to go on.
Oh my. GEWEI’s showed up! Hope I can figure out how to build one lol.
ah missed your message there. thanks for the tips!
just a note for all, same as for brasser, printed it as it is and it fits the ics!
SPIKERING being controlled by many things… lol - PLUMROOLZ, ROOLZR, Fourse Tarp, and Charm… Only Audio Out is SPIKERING
I’m looking for the paper circuit for 5 star brain and swoopspokes. I found the files as .osm in the paper zip folder. Is there a way to export this file so that I can print it on a paper cirucit?
The .osm files are for use in a program called Osmond PCB, which is a Mac only program.
https://osmondpcb.com/
You can print from Osmond, but you’ll need to print two different layers to make a paper circuit. You can also export to Gerbers to have PCBs made. See upthread for instructions on how to do this.
Anyone?
lmao i didnt see fourses in his hand at first lolol
@idkei The reason you are not finding those as normal paper circuits is due to their size. I could whip them up for ya, but I was working on the 5-star just a minute ago and you would have to have A4 size paper… (210mm x 297mm) - it overhangs on 8.5x11
