If the levels are similar to other CL gear, levels should share fine with eurorack. A jumbler like the one you posted, or an external one, or any other ground-sharing method should do you just fine.

@crucFX Thanks for the manual!

Stupid question maybe. Would I lose the stereo image of a coco for example if it goes through the dual mono input of the Benjolin?

I read somewhere that he would not put up with negative tension, do we have any information on that?
Thanks !

I think coco would be called dual mono as well, fwiw… should be good, all the same tho.

Started and ended with this, just blew the dust off

Thanks so much! Easy interoperability definitely helps inform the decision to jump in here.

My benjolin from PC has shipped!

It says that the out is stereo for headphone users on the PC article about benjolins, so my guess may actually be yes , you would lose it

A really nice tribute to Hordijk there. He did have a lot more ideas to share with the world as expressed in his modular systems. Hopefully one day these will get more exposure as well.

I’ve probably had worse days, but this one’s pretty bad. Got to our storage unit to grab my cocoquantus and found it partially flooded. Saxophones, clarinets, and some CL gear had cases that were sopping wet and a lot of moisture inside.

What’s the best course of action with electronics? My wife is headed back to the house to get them in a room with a dehumidifier and fan while I clean up the mess.

Any other advice?

Oh shit!! That sucks. I’m so sorry. For electronics, I’d say take them apart as much as you’re comfortable with and wait it out, fans etc… Sheesh. Maybe you can get some compensation from the storage company?

I am unfamiliar with water damage and wood…
but as for the electronics… maybe bulk rice…
Do NOT turn any of them on until you are 100% everything is dry.

If anything ends up dead in the end, I am always willing to take a look.
CL at least.

Let everything dry for as long as you can. Then wait even longer. Then turn it on.

Had my finger poised over the pre-order button for the new Benjolin when my wife reminded me we already had Benjolin at home. Dammit.

Thanks for posting this! Makes me want to become a builder :grinning:

Do you think he’s serious? Are you a member of the Order of the Sand???

Sounds like you could be a member if you build stuff and want to be a member.

as long as you are willing to participate in the yearly dance party

Cocoquantus

Is there any reason that I should be getting a loud humming sound when I connect the white out from piezo to a green in on one of the cocos?
