Can confirm that this is an issue/feature with my sidrax as well. I guess I’ve just accepted it as they way it is.
Thanks for your feedback. Nothing serious either, just adapting to the specificities of the instrument.
Some SRINE and Peterlin madness
I will test this when I get home, but there is definitely a “max” flex/voltage on the piezos. Not sure if that’s the specific issue you’re talking about.
But also, the piezos are capable of audio-rate amplitude modulation of the signal, so impulses and knocks will sound “through” the VCA. It’s just that the usual flexes are below audio rate, so you don’t hear them as sound. If you use a vibrating motor or drag a rubber ball on the barre, that signal will act like an AM effect.
after work drones / whale sounds. Peterlin + a delay pedal
Im really starting to get tired of this forum not recognizing IG links…
Anywho - Peter posted 2 neat little SOLAR Peterlin/Benjo vids!

I really dislike instagram video for having no volume control and progress bar.
I really dislike instagram for being a closed platform, not searchable at all from the open web and constantly forcing you to lock in or to create a account and also because it is owned by f**king Mark Zuckerberg.
I very much agree.
I am mostly on there for Peter’s stuff and a little bit of exposure for people who like to see what I do haha
Other than that, I never sit on IG, never search IG, cuz its all absolutely awful!!!
I wish they’ll start making the solar Peterlins for sale. I found that very much to my liking!!
Self contained, with speakers😍
Yes, had the same thoughts here. Would also be nice as a DIY project: transform a Peterlin into a solar sounder.
the speaker amp (well, actually 2 kinds) are present on the board to do so
has anyone sequenced the Peterlin with a eurorack sequencer? wondering if it’s worth getting a format jumbler to pair it with 0-ctrl or Ansible. it’s currently
my only banana synth
I would advise to get a format jumbler, not only for the peterlin but also for your next banana synth
Seriously though it’d be interesting to sequence peterlin. I used to do that with my eurorack benjolin.
For going into Peterlin, (or any other ciat gear) I think this would be safe to use with a 0-ctrl, as far as I’m aware, it doesn’t put out any negative voltage. Anything else y’all think I should look out for?
I use these!
Nothing special with negative blocking tho, but shouldn’t be an issue with the peterlin as long as you are mindful, regardless of what jumbler you use!
A format jumbler is the easiest thing to make my dudes.
