I know that each spiral connects into their sides choke inductor, I gather that the obelisk near the top (near the antler silk screen) is the Power In.

The absolute confusion comes in the form of the lower left and lower right Obelisks that have nothing connected to their Positive side.

The far left Pot, and the lower middle pot both only have traces going to their middle pads.

So I am at a loss… lol

I know of one person who has built one with success but he also sells these boards - however in his videos, the deerhorn seems different - it is Spyrallus - but it has pots in the middle of each spyral and some other various mods that left me scratching my head even further… lol

has anyone built a meng qi rollz-5 recently? the chips on the bom seem to be out of production and i’m not sure how to pick adequate replacement parts.

Which chips are you struggling to find?
The rollz 5 only uses 4 different types and they are all widely available, as far as I know.

TL082 - dual op amp, can substitute with TL072
TL084 - quad op amp, can sub with TL074
CD4066 - quad switch
CD4013 - dual d-type flip flop

These can all be purchased right now in the UK at least.

Yes all parts are available from tayda, just recently purchased them for my build.

Except for the sockets for the rolls caps*. I got a pack from amazon. They were terrible…I ended up desoldering them all hah.
