Just a quick update, I decided to not go with the Roland Go, I think it would’ve worked but I instead got a camera adapter kit so I can use my zoom h6 as an interface for my phone and returned the Go Mixer unused.

Quick question: I recently received an Aukey 20kmah battery bank and planned to use it with my Make Noise 104hp skiff. The MN accepts a 15v input for its power supply. I purchased a USB 5v–>9/12/15v adapter and verified with a meter that it supplies 15v. However, when hooked up to the skiff, nothing happens (well, the MN logo glows dimly but that’s it). ModularGrid has my power consumption estimated at 970mA on +12v and 450mA on -12v. Am I missing a component?

Sounds like the step up transformer in the cable may not supply enough current even if it is supplying the right voltage.

on the peak of Mount Lawlor in the San Gabriel Mountains. The power supply is a Voltaic V88 which can be solar powered. I have left it on overnight with this set up and it was still going in the morning!

Mostly curious but could this speaker/battery prower a small modular?

I can’t seam to find or make sense of if this could power a polysend anywhere or what the power out is. I found it mostly interesting if the speaker could be a all in one solution…given the speaker itself I would not say it’s portable to go remote but could be a option to go to the local park or backyard.

Spec sheet says 20W each output on battery. That’s 4A @ 5V, plenty for the Polyend Anywhere.

I’m a big fan, I have the 1u nearness and the RIP in 1u to build as well so that should hopefully really beef up the capabilities.

What is the benefit of these Voltaic batteries? Is it that you intend to use them with a remote solar panel? Curious what justifies the size to mah ratio, or is it a matter of quality? They do look nice

I’m sure there are cheaper options, I just went with it because its pretty versatile and good quality

I run this 19” 3+1u (Pulp Logic frame) via a Jackery with a full on 3prong plug. Sometimes with a splitter for cameras though usually remember to charge the camera batteries.

Has anybody had luck with Ripcords?
Thinking of getting the 15v one with a big powerbank for my palette, but have actually never seen it power one of those before…
