One comment I’d like to make now that I have a little distance from the event, it would have been nice if the mods would send a reminder about the rules before a refiling to the Latest Tracks thread, and give folks a chance to add context. Finishing my first ever EP and having the announcements moved to a mega thread felt like a kick in the teeth. An opportunity to add context would have been nice.

Edited to add: I didn’t complain at the time, because I’m sure that the mods have a tough job. Maybe just a little more empathy next time around?

we perhaps need to add a template to the releases category, which reiterates the intended use of the category

I’m curious about the process and policy around splitting off a topic from a thread, specifically the mobenthey-coat-lonbarde thread.

It’s a long and rich thread in which the eurorack mobenthey modules are pretty buried. It seems that they are sufficiently distinguishable to justify their own thread.

Splitting this topic off would make it easier to discuss it sensibly.
