When you’re considering a Eurorack stereo mixer solution—especially a big/“fancy” one—you have to really do your homework carefully. These complex products differ in so many little details, way beyond what I can figure out to represent on my comparison. Stock up on your favorite headache remedy before proceeding, because you’re going to find things to not like about every option.
Oh my how damn accurate this is. When my setup was more jammable groovebox-style with 2-3/4 voices plus percussions it was super frustrating to search for a mixer with right feature set. It seemed like everything was just missing something, was way too massive for my 208hp, wasn’t available anymore or had just some small annoyances. I ended up with Praga which was great, but there was something with the send/returns that annoyed me, can’t remember clearly anymore, and I didn’t have room for the expander. It sounded and felt brilliant though.
